We are a production company established for the purpose of independently producing, directing and distributing film, video and other audiovisual materials.
Our name honors the master of Japanese cinema Yasujiro Ozu, who would begin his path in the seventh art by writing scripts and signing them under the pseudonym James Maki.
We are motivated by telling stories under the premise of respect for our characters and their environment, which is why we choose not to participate in industries that are harmful to the environment and the soul.

Consequently with our ways of thinking, our work is not only limited to labor. That is why when requesting the economic support fund for cultural workers and organizations from the Ministry of Culture, we used it to produce two institutional videos as a contribution to two associations that were severely hit by the pandemic.
